Chris was excited to be going over and hanging out with Chord. It has been a long time and he couldn’t wait to tell Chord everything that has been happening with him and he wanted to know everything that was happening with him too. Chris ran around his apartment trying to find his jacket and car keys so that he could hurry up and get to Chord’s place. After hunting for everything over a few minutes he locked the doors and got in his car and drove over to Chords place. Pulling up in front of his house he got out and walked slowly to the door and knocked on it waiting for him to answer.
Chord had truly missed everyone while he was working independently. He had missed prank wars with Mark and plane rides with Disney music with Dianna. Everything he held so near and dear to his heart was suddenly missing, and it took time to get out of that funk. By the time all had been said and done, he was back on set, smiling and laughing with his family again. “Hey,” he said, opening the door and welcoming Chris in. “How’ve you been? Super busy, I suppose?”
“Yeah they are. And then I can come back here, visit the family.” Emma smiled as she was finished with her little story. She could ramble on about things but she didn’t want to bother Chord with it. “You must have a busy life now that you’re back on the show. But I guess it’s nice to finally be around all your friends again. Things are going good too for you appearantly. I’m glad.” She moved further into the living room and sat down on the couch. “How’s the album going though? Last time I saw you, you were still working on it. Still excited to hear it.” Crossing her legs, she turned her attention back to him. This shouldn’t be uncomfortable and it seemed like she was. She didn’t mean to come over like that, but she was nervous. Although Ashley had told her before that she should just be honest with him and be open about it all. If he didn’t feel the same way then they could still work on their friendship if it doesn’t become awkward. The thought had been in her head for a while now and being back here, it was the best opportunity to tell him. “Chord… There’s something I need to talk to you about.”
“Busy’s an understatement,” he said with a laugh, falling back onto the couch next to Emma. He liked having something to do, though, so it wasn’t all bad. If he weren’t busy with something his life would probably be really boring. And boring and Chord Overstreet just were not friends. “The albums good. Great, actually.” Music was definitely his favorite aspect of the whole Hollywood thing. Acting was just icing on top of the cake. A day spent with his music was a day well spent, he thought. He just counted down the days until his fans, friends, family, and everyone else could hear the music he had slaved over for so many late nights and early mornings. The feeling wasn’t much different for Glee, though. But with his music, Chord was allowed to be Chord. With Glee, Chord had to be Sam. Which he wasn’t complaining about at all. Sam was a pretty cool dude, he thought. “Uhm.. yeah. Shoot,” he said, brow furrowing slightly in confusion.
Because of Chord’s busy schedule and Chris’s busier one, hangout time was nonexistent. There was literally no possible way for them to meet up and talk. And if they did find time, it was often cut short or on set. It wasn’t that the set wasn’t a comfortable place to hang out, it was just so hectic that literally no talking got done. And when it did, it was all about work.
It seemed like Chord’s house was a go to hangout spot. Comfy, close by, and nothing too big or fancy. So, naturally, he invited Chris over for a little night in. Diet Coke, movies, popcorn. The usual, but it’d be nice anyway.
Emma was a little surprised that the door opened in a matter of seconds. Still a little startled, she responded to the hug which made her relax instantly. It felt good and made her think of the days when they were still dating. “Yeah, way too long…” She whispered before pulling away. A smile appeared on her face as her eyes met his. “You know, busy with college and talking about this movie project. Just this and that. Now I’m just taking a small break from it all. Hence why I’m back in LA.” She shrugged before following him into the living room and sitting down on the couch. “It’s good to see you again.” Biting her bottom lip, she started thinking about the time they spent together. It was always fun. Whether they went out or stayed inside to just cuddle and what not. He’s always had a special place in her heart. She didn’t want this to be uncomfortable as he was so welcoming a few minutes ago, but she couldn’t help but getting slightly nervous. Fiddling with her hands, she hoped that he wouldn’t notice. “How have you been?” She tried to take the attention off of her and see what he had been up to lately.
Chord listened as Emma explained all of her undertakings to him. It was a big deal for a celebrity to choose to go to school again, and Chord couldn’t have been prouder. Instead of most people in Hollywood, Emma was going after what she wanted. Not what her fans wanted her to do and not what the media expected her to do. She was doing her own thing, and it was admirable, really. “Small breaks are nice,” he said with a smile. Truth is, he missed all of his free time when he wasn’t on Glee. Now the only time he got off was a holiday hiatus and that was long over. Even during the summers, they were touring. It was nice to be with his friends all the time, but it got tiring, too. “Just Glee stuff, really,” he explained.
61 bucks in 15 minutes ain’t a bad deal.
obviously you should! that’s totally crazy. congrats! :)
not much. the usual, hah. you?
Emma had been out all afternoon with Ashley to catch up. It had been weeks and she was dying to just spend some time with one of her good friends. She had gotten through the day without thinking about tonight but now that the moment was there, she didn’t know how to feel about it all. Would it be a good idea to tell Chord what has been on her mind lately? She started doubting herself. Sighing deeply, she walked back into the bedroom and exchanged her sweater for something more casual. As she looked into the mirror, she bit her bottom lip as she had no idea what his reaction would be. They had broken up for a reason, but they did stay friends as their schedules were just too busy for them. But she never admitted to him after that she still has feelings for the guy. To be honest, she was scared. Scared to get rejected. Shaking her head, she tried to get rid of all those thoughts and tried to be more confident. She had agreed on going to his place to talk, so she grabbed her things and headed out again, grabbing her car keys on the way.
Arriving at his place, she just looked outside of her window for a minute before getting out of the car. Walking up to the building, she kept telling herself not to be nervous and just act normal. He was still comfortable with her so she should be the same. She got lucky as someone just exited so she quickly went inside and walked up the stairs to his floor. When she got to his place, Emma just took a deep breath before knocking on the door.
Despite his hook up with Naya, there was one girl that Chord just couldn’t get out of his mind. The whole entire night had reminded him of his nights with Emma. Whether they were cooking or watching movies or whatever, he was always having a good time with Emma. It was kind of impossible not to. She was a fun person to be around and she just always had a smile on her face that lit up the room. He questioned why they even split in the first place. It seemed like a mistake. But maybe she didn’t feel that way. Maybe she was happily moving on. So saying something and ruining their friendship was totally out of the question.
At her knock, Chord was almost instantly at the door, welcoming her in. “Hey, it’s been way too long,” he said simply, bringing her in for a much needed hug. “How’ve you been?”
Naya basked in the feeling of his mouth nipping and kissing. She kept just focusing on how it all felt. How his lips felt, how his body felt against her own. Warm, soft skin against hers just felt amazing on its own. Add the feeling of him going to that next level made her forget all thoughts she may have been thinking. She heard his moan and her legs tightened around him in response. Her short nails dug into his sides her body and mind both screaming ‘finally’. She didn’t know if things would be strange on his end. She didn’t want him to think she was going to make things messy, their situation. She avoided awkward and confrontations if she could help it. If there were any floating feelings between them at all, she wasn’t focusing on it. She was just focusing on right now. Right now was what mattered
The relief of finally making that move to the next step after so much waiting washed over him like a tidal wave. It had been so long overdue and maybe the alcohol just made it better, Chord wasn’t sure, but he also wasn’t planning on questioning it any time soon. In fact, he wasn’t questioning anything. Doubts soon fled his mind entirely as the scratch of her nails sent him into a completely different world. Keeping his mouth grazing over the expanse of her neck, Chord started his slow but purposeful thrusts.
